Student Example: Obesity
This mash-up was researched and assembled by BCCC student Kaitlyn Garnett as an alternative assignment in an Introduction to Sociology class. Students were asked to analyze an issue impacting society.
In her first experience using editing tools and media, this student did a nice job identifying an issue, pointing out society's reactions, and providing statistical information to augment her position. In addition, she legally used a soundtrack that was obtained from CC Mixter, a site recognized by the Creative Commons.
